Why are we always the front runners for all major disasters around the world? Why is it necessary for the United States to give financial assistance when they DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO GIVE? Why should the American people have to foot the bill for disasters abroad? Is there a difference between the words, 'humanitarianism' and 'good stewardship' ?
The US federal government is spending money that does not belong to them. They are a bankrupt nation, to themselves and to others abroad. It is one thing to bring aid to stricken regions of the world that are poor and another to give more than what you have.
The national unemployment rate was 10% in December of 2009. The figures for January will be published on February 2nd. I presently reside in the suburbs of South Bend, Indiana. The city unemployment rate is 9.1% . The state unemployment rate is 8.2%. These figures are mild compared to what it was in the earlier parts of the summer of 09: the state was at 10.6% and the city of South Bend was 11.3%.
We go through this kind of irresponsible attitudes with giving whenever theres a tragedy abroad. We allow the world community to dope us into thinking that we alone are responsible for this mess and therefore we should spend the most to repair. While the Canadian government has given 12.7 million dollars to the Haitian relief, President Barack Obama has given Haiti seven times that amount! The United States has pledged 100 million dollars to the relief and the rebuilding of this country. Who by the way is operating under a communist regime, but thats another story all together. It is speech like this that angers me and many Americans. We will be the blame for the deaths of many who will flee Haiti and drown in the Atlantic before reaching US soil. I say let them die. Keep them away from our soil. We can't even help ourselves at this point and we're going to bring more illegals into the country so they can spread disease.
The Revolution , is a communist organization thats main goal is to destroy us from within. Within our own borders because of decisions made by politicians that allow our enemies to dictate to our leaders what we should do. When we don't do the politically correct thing, we are demonized by the world.
What is the state of Florida saying about all this? They will be the ones who foot the bill locally. Let this be food for immense thought.............that leads to long enduring actions.
